ALL TOGETHER NOW....

Sometimes when things happen around us, or to us, I tend to think they happen for a reason, not always sure what that reason is, but it is easier to think that way, to get through it and deal with it. But then you get that 'snowballing effect', when something else goes wrong, and then another, until you ask that question; What is that 'all important' reason?? Ok , it is someone else's turn to have their troubles and woes.....I feel better now, just sharing that with you.

No I wouldnt wish that on anybody, but you can see where Im coming from...

This siteshed was storage for all my (and my friend's)junk we had collected.We now have separate sheds, and verandahs, so we are selling it on ebay.So have a look, if you need extra room, if you have a 'collecting' problem like me, this could be just for you.

Well , it has been a very cold week, and they predict a wet weekend, so keep warm , and dry, and blog till your heart is content!!!

This was a pleasure to make, and it will be hard to part with....

Lost in time....

Where do the days go?? Sometimes they just come and go without being acknowledged...well that's what school hols do for me!

I didnt know they were upon us until the Friday they broke up from school! I only have one child left to really entertain now, the others are older, so we kind of feel a bit lost as to what to do.When they are young, movies, picnics, friends, there are endless things to do. But as they get older, and fewer, I guess the novelty slowly fades....I miss the good old days.

Between trying to be a parent/ entertainer / friend, to a bored teenager, I have managed to add some more items on ebay, here are a few of my latest.

Well I hope everyone with school children are having a nice break, and for those of whom are 'LOST IN TIME' , Monday is only 4 more sleeps away, then hopefully things will return to normal!!

A Sleep-deprived Junker

Now here is a project to do in my spare time!! I love garden and pot stands, but not for plants....

It is 5am, I have been up for 2 hours!!

Yesterday, I had a day of unplanned junking, I think I am still on a high!!

My neighbour asked me out early to go with her, and I declined( it took all my might) as I had a lunch doo with a friend. But after thinking it over, for a few seconds, I decided to go on my own.

I came home an hour later,had filled the car, you couldn't wipe the smile off my face!

My husband tried to direct me to our little junk pile to offload my new junk, how rude!!

Then...I cleaned up , went out for lunch, and spent the afternoon visiting every secondhand shop known to man! It was just.... Im lost for words!

Please tell me Im not the only one that has this problem, my brain is buzzing with ideas, and I cant wait to start with my projects.I would battle the cold now, but it is too dark, well now Im sounding desperate!

Before deciding to add this blog, I was watching tv, those advertisements that go for a couple of hours, it is like they brainwash you. So without realizing, you have your credit card in your hand dialling the number to buy 2 sets of the '70's boxed set of DVDs, and why do we make this decision at 3 in the morning?? Those songs brought back so many memories, David Bowie, Bee Gees, oh and did I mention they have standup comedy on them as well, a very young Steve Martin? Oh my god ,I need a coffee....

Ok, so here are some more of my collections ....Rolling pins, table cloths, tassles, thimbles and rugs.Just a few, and I will add more again later!
