When is this rain ever going to stop. It has poured since the end of last week, we're not use to it, and as much as we need it, Im over it!
Items I have painted a few days ago, are still wet, so I thought it was time to dig out the sewing machine. Im actually nearly set up in my 'new' office-craft space, so setting up the machine was fairly easy. It doesnt mean Im not fighting for room to move, but it is getting better to manage, here is a sneak peek!
This gorgeous fabric is to die for,its called 'Marple',a Bernard Wardle barkcloth. This particular piece (like many others I have), is a vintage curtain remnant from my stash! The doily was from another stash! I backed the cushion with calico for contrast.
Too cute to be alone, so I made two!
The perfect pair!
Off to the studio they go, you will find them here*.
