Winter warmers!!

Well here we are in June, where does the time go?? It's the first day of winter, so in true form,today is cold, wet, and just down-right depressing weather! We have been spoilt lately with blue skys and mildly cold temps, so it was probably inevitable!

Im home alone this weekend, so I thought I would do some crafting...starting with knitting! I havent knitted for about 8 years, so it was a bit of a challenge...Im making fingerless mittens, specifically for wearing whilst on the computer, my hands freeze! So Im calling them PC mittens!I think Ive missed a few rows on one side, so they will definitely be interesting!

I also made some stationery to add to my Junkstudio, for it's Grand opening in September.I know it is still 4 months away, but here we are in June already, I want to be prepared!

Im still working on my daughter's new room, and she has chosen these colours, though she wants it 'theatrical'.She has also specified, it is not to have all old lacey and frilly things in it, she doesnt have my taste! I have bought the curtains for both sets of windows,they are velvet,and with her theme in mind, I wanted it to still look light and airy, but cosy.

Well, I better get back to it, 11 days to go....
