Take a seat, on the wall!!

Another addition to the studio....I like this one, it has a beachy feel to it!
I've made a few of these, and they have all been different, my favourite one would have to be this one!

With only a few weeks till the Spring sale, the butterflies have started, and mild panic has set in!

Well yesterday(Sunday), I had a lovely break from it all, I visited Sue and her family. It's been a while, but worth the wait!

She has a new family member called 'Maple', she's the colour of maple syrup, and Minty loves her!
We had a girly catchup, and my eldest came along for some god-daughter/mum time!

Sue's azalea is just gorgeous!

I feel like my life is back in order now, visiting a dear friend can do that to a person you know!
On another note....
Sometimes I dont think my mum 'gets' me, you know what I mean? I dont think she takes notice of my favourite colours, my taste in furniture, and even the fact that I collect this junk....but I now realise she does take notice sometimes.Look what she gave me a couple of weeks ago? Mum handed them to me in a bag, which I forgot to open until today. These were my grandmothers, sadly she is in a nursing home with alzeimers.
It was the nicest gift, without any reason, just because....

I love those gifts!

  1. Good morning What a sweet unexpected gift from your Mum! Especially the fact that those bits and bobs are your Grandma's...my Mom saved every bit of flotsam & jetsam that came into her life. When she passed I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount...but in all that stuff, I found so many pieces of her & my grand parents & even greats...that I saw the piles as true treasures, not junk. Now I'm the keeper, and it's a fairly important job to me...even though hubby still sees it as piles of "Gar-baage". Have a great week *elaine*
